The Investment Council

The Investment Council under the Governor of the Belgorod Region is a permanent, collegial body established to determine policy and coordinate activities to attract and place investments in the region, including by selecting investment projects that need financial support from the regional budget, at the expense of funds raised as a result of the placement of regional bonded loans, as well as the provision of a state guarantee of the Belgorod Region.

The main tasks of the Council:

development of a strategy and tactics for the investment policy of the regional government, aimed at increasing the level of investment attractiveness of the region, determining the priority areas of investment activity in the region;
coordination of activities of the executive authorities of the region in the field of implementation of the investment policy of the region;
development of proposals to improve the efficiency of investment activities and improve the investment climate in the region;
providing state support for economic entities of the region of all forms of ownership, implementing investment projects in priority areas of socio-economic development of the region;
coordination of work to support small and medium-sized businesses in the framework of the implementation of regional programs of measures for the development of small and medium-sized businesses.
